Chickasaw was the mecca for Christmas lights in the 1980's and 1990's and we're seeking to restore our glory!
This is a call to action for all Chickasaw residents and businesses! Our vision is to bring back the nostalgia that only the Christmas season can bring; a time when neighborhoods glowed with lights, families bundled up for evening drives, and the simple joy of Christmas which created memories that lasted a lifetime. We are encouraging every resident to decorate their homes this holiday season and help transform Chickasaw into a Christmas destination.
If you've always wanted to decorate but need a helping hand, we're seeking volunteers who would love to help so we can match you with a Santa's helper and make your Christmas vision come to life.
We are also asking all businesses along Lee Street to decorate your storefronts and help create a magical Lee Street experience for everyone who visits.
As part of Christmas in Chickasaw, we will be creating an official Christmas Lights Map featuring decorated homes throughout our city. This will encourage families from all over the area to visit Chickasaw, enjoy the lights, support our local businesses, and experience the magic of the season together.
The time is now to start planning your Christmas display! Every light, wreath, and ribbon helps make our city shine a little brighter.
As a community, let's create a Christmas tradition that reminds everyone of the wonder, hope, and joy of the season.
